Country Music Duo Brooks & Dunn have sold over 30 million albums and amassed 20 chart-topping hits and over 80 industry awards making them the most successful duo of all time. Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn have been dedicated to helping others and in 2007 they received the ACM humanitarian award. For several years Ronnie’s “Rock the Barn” event at his home near Nashville raised money for charities such as Gilda’s club and the St. Thomas Breast Cancer center. In 2015 Kix received the inaugural CMA Foundation Humanitarian award as a reflection of his dedication to organizations such as Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Monroe Harding’s Children’s home, the Country Music Association. Kix was pivotal in the creation of the keep the music playing campaign which is funded from proceeds from the CMA music fest. The campaign has provided more than $11 million into Tennesse schools for music education since 2006.
